Good evening,
Here’s how I see the Glamsterdam headliner discussions playing out.
EIP 7805, fork choice enforced inclusion lists (FOCIL), and EIP 7928, block level access lists (BALs), headline the upgrade, primarily because they are the least controversial and least complicated to implement.
In this post, I’m not going to spend much time explaining the headliners, so I highly encourage readers who didn’t read last week’s post to read that first, because it will lay the groundwork for understanding the EIPs and terminology used in this one.
No, I’m serious; I’m not explaining EIP 7732, enshrined proposer builder separation (ePBS), again, so please read last week’s post to ensure you’re picking up what I’m putting down!
Below are my full takeaways on All Core Developers Consensus (ACDC) call #161.
Yours truly,
Christine D. Kim
🛎️Programming note: As a heads-up, the ACD After Hours newsletter will be going on a two-week break from Monday, July 28, to Friday, August 8. I’ll be soaking up some sun over on the West Coast and attending Paradigm’s Frontiers conference in San Francisco. Coverage of the ACD calls will resume Monday, August 11!
