Returning from Vacation

Hi everyone,
I’m back from vacation!
In May, I travelled with my family to Korea and Japan. It was a dream-like month of enjoying good food, taking in beautiful sights, and spending quality time with some of the people I love most in my life - in short, a really good vacation.

Honestly, I’m a bit sad to be back at my desk in New York City writing again for this Substack. I miss Asia and my family a lot. 🥲
But I’m reminding myself that vacations only feel sweet when we work hard for them and have the money to spend on them. So, I’m resolved to work hard again for my next vacation.
Korea, I’ll come back to you. I promise. <3

I’m turning on paid subscriptions. That’s right. It’s happening.
I started this Substack knowing I would eventually turn on paid subscriptions, but I needed time to plan out my paid content strategy.
I’m excited to share that I’ve got a new content series coming out soon for paid subscribers. More details on this to follow next week.
I will be continuing to write the ACD After Hours newsletter. All ACD Call Minutes posts will remain free for readers. My ACD Insights posts will be paywalled, however, moving forward. (I’ve got to put a dollar value on those insights!)
Finally, I will be starting a paid subscriber chat room. I plan to use this chat for more direct, real-time communication with readers, such as Ask Me Anything (AMA) chat sessions about my posts.
